Information Security Policy
NIKKO INDUSTRY CO., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) recognizes the information assets of its customers, business partners, and other stakeholders handled through its business activities as important management resources and is committed to ensuring information security.
To appropriately protect and securely manage such information assets, the Company hereby establishes the following Information Security Policy and will continuously promote information security initiatives.
1. Appropriate Management of Information Assets
The Company will appropriately manage its information assets according to their importance and associated risks and will endeavor to prevent unauthorized access, information leakage, loss, alteration, destruction, and other security incidents.
2. Establishment of an Information Security Management System
The Company will establish an appropriate management framework for information security and implement necessary security measures to protect its information assets.
3. Compliance with Laws and Regulations
The Company will comply with applicable laws and regulations related to information security, as well as other relevant social norms and contractual obligations with customers and business partners.
4. Education and Awareness
The Company will provide necessary education and awareness activities for its officers and employees to ensure that they understand the importance of information security and handle information assets appropriately.
5. Response to Information Security Incidents
In the event of an information security incident, the Company will promptly assess the situation, take measures to prevent further damage, investigate the cause, and implement measures to prevent recurrence.
6. Continuous Improvement
The Company will periodically review its information security initiatives and continuously improve them in response to changes in the social and technological environment.
